Welcome to my website, and I hope you enjoy it, even when I tell you that I used to be a dentist, Ouch!

I have always liked writing, which goes back to my school days and ‘composition.’ With publication in many journals and magazines, ranging from professional to animal, yachting and a Boy’s Annual, I have also enjoyed success with short stories and the occasional poem. But my real love is writing for children and this year sees the publication of my first book for children (guess I’m still a kid at heart).

Stop Press/Latest News:
I have won the Welsh Region novel competition run by Undiscovered Authors, and now go forwards with the other six regional winners to the Final. My entry was a children's book, 'Court of Foxes' aimed at the 8-11 years readership. So now it's everything crossed for further success.

Here in North Wales, I am a member of a very active writing club and have the dubious honour of trying to keep order in my capacity as Chairman. They are a talented bunch, and meetings are fun, and we have just published our first anthology of work.

I hope you enjoy browsing through my web site, and I would welcome your comments and questions, as writing can be a lonely occupation and to hear from fellow writers would be a bonus. Children are very welcome to ask me questions.
